promethian_logo.JPGThere are several resources on this wiki, organized separately, that will work well with Promethean Boards. However, sometimes it’s good to find resources all in one place. This collection of resources is intended specifically for interactive white boards. We hope to add more resources to this page in the near-future. In the meantime, consider this short list of tools.

First, would you like to learn more about using your Promethean Board? Consider these three great sites to learn everything from creating Flipcharts to basic care and maintanence.

1.) The Jefferson County Schools' Promethean Boards and ActivInspire page

2.) This list of Promethean ActivInspire “how-to” guides and tutorials

3.) The DPS Promethean Resources page

Additional resources:
Promethean Planet is the old standby for great interactive whiteboard resources. The site boasts over 60,000 free teaching resources, lesson plans and worksheets that go hand-in-hand with whiteboard instruction.

ICT instructor Tom Barrett’s collection Thirty-Eight Interesting Ways to Use Your Interactive Whiteboard (and Tips) is geared largely for elementary and middle school classrooms, but high school teachers will find good ideas here, too. Note: this resource opens as a PDF file.
Scholastic’s Interactive Whiteboard 101: A Resource of Activities for Literacy Instruction compiles a starter kit of good interactive tools for interactive whiteboards. Organized by grade level – scroll to the bottom for high school – these resources can be applied primarly in the English/language arts classroom.
